EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND 

  • Completed Graduate Diploma in Packaging from IIP and Asian Packaging Federation in 2009, awarded with third rank (First class with Distinction). 
  • Completed my Post Graduate in Plastic Engineering (PGDPE) from CIPET, Ahmedabad in 1995 awarded with second rank in All India with “A” grade (Above 80%). 
  • Completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administation o    PGDBA) in 1994 from S.P. University, V.V.Nagar. 
  • Completed my Bachelor’s in Production Engineering B.E. (Production) in 1992, awarded with first rank in university with Gold Medal. 

WORKING EXPOSURE. 

After having more than 17 years experience of his career, he has associated with Shreeji Global Enterprise and looking after operational aspects plus explore opportunity for the business. 

 (FROM NOV.’04 TO APRIL’13) 

During above period, He worked as a Business Head in Srilanka for NEPPL. NEPPL is Indian MNC which engaged in manufacturing of furniture product. 

Being a country head in Srilanka, his major responsibilities were as under. 

1)     Profitability in terms of volume as well as (PBT and PAT).

2)     Monitoring the market situation and prepare the opportunity of new business plan to project with director. 

Liasion with the govt organization like Ministry of industry, BOI (Board of Investment), Inland Revenue, Srilankan Customs, Internal auditor, Bankers etc. Turnover of company is 1 Billion.

 

 (APRIL’03 TO OCT’04) 

During above period, He worked as a General Manager, in one of the largest packaging company in Kenya (PIL). The total plastic processing was 16000 MT/ year. Product mixes are as under

 

1)     Three layer film for packing of milk, salt.

2)     Monolayer film for packing of tea, rice, confectionary, sugar etc.

3)     PP film for packing of sanitary items.

4)     HDPE film for packing of grocery bag for vegetables, supermarket etc.

5)     Perforated BOPP film for flower sleeves.

6)     Plastic Bags for packing of agro based products, animal foods etc.

7)     Plastic Liners for packing of ropes, food grains etc.

8)     Plastic bags for packing of bread.

9)     Vest type HDPE carrier bags 

Being a General Manager, his major responsibilities are as under. 

1)     Planning and execution of order.

2)     Introduction of new material for processing to cut the cost.

3)     Manpower planning for each machine.

4)     Co-ordination with director for material procurement planning

5)     Monitoring and controlling the wastage.

6)     To handle the customer complaints

7)     Co-ordination with marketing agents to down gauge the film to get better productivity.

8)     Creation of system to maintain proper production, wastage data throughout the plant. 

 (FROM AUGUST’95 TO APRIL 03) 

After completion of my PGDPE, He joined in Mother Dairy (Packaging Film Plant- PFP). PFP is a unit of AMUL (GCMMF Ltd.). AMUL is the largest organization with turnover of Rs. 3600 Crores per year. AMUL started its backward integration in packaging filed in 1995 to manufacture the plastic  film to pack the liquid milk in dairies. I joined in PFP as a Project Engineer. In the beginning we installed 1800 MT/year capacity plant. During my carrier with AMUL, we expanded the unit two times and made the capacity of 7000 MT/ year. Within five years I have been promoted as Plant Incharge (Dy. Manager). I was reporting to General Manager- Mother Dairy. 

Being a plant incharge his responsibilities are as under. 

1)     Co-ordination of all department to execute the order.

2)     Implementation of ISO system in company.

3)     TQM co-ordinator of mother dairy.

4)     Evaluation of existing and development of new vendor,

5)     Co-ordination with NDDB for project expansion.

6)     Handling of customer complaints,

7)     Creating the awareness of plastic film by arranging the seminars throughout the dairies.

8)     Marketing of film after second expansion from other state co-operatives.

9)     Liasion with Excise, Factory Inspector and other govt department.

10)  Creation of new system to make operation more strengthen.

11)  Planning of raw material with purchase department from Head Office.

12)  Maintaining of good housekeeping. 

The total strength of employee is 130 nos.

 

(JULY’04 TO AUGUST’05) 

During above period I left the job of Elecon Engg. Co. Ltd. And joined to study my POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PLASTIC ENGINEERING (PGDPE) from CIPET, Ahmedabad. In PGDPE, I learnt the different plastic materials, plastic processes, testing of plastic materials etc. After completion of PGDPE, I joined in PFP- Mother Dairy from campus interview. 

(NOV’02 TO JULY’04) 

After completion of my B.E.(Production), He joined in Elecon Engg. Co. Ltd. At V.V.Nagar in Gujarat. Elecon is manufacturing the material handling equipment for thermal power station, cement factories. Product mix of Elecon Engg. Co. are as under. 

1)     Conveyor

2)     Wagon Tipplor

3)     Crusher

4)     Pulley etc. 

He was working as Jr Engineer in Machine Shop. His responsibilities are as under. 

1)     Execution of order according to planning department

2)     Manpower arrangement for machines.

3)     Reporting to Incharge- Machine Shop
